Free Workshop

Join us on for a chance to dip your toes into the Deep End and see what we're all about! This free workshop introduces our unique approach for the novice to improvisational theater, and explores the kinds of exercises and play we use to teach it. Its a great opportunity to enjoy two hours of play with like-minded creatives, learn a bit more about improv, and meet the Artistic Director of Deep End Theater.
No registration or experience necessary.

Foundations
Learn the art and craft of improvisation

​Sound Improv is a unique approach to theatrical improvisation focused on acting, performance savvy and deep exploration of spontaneous collaborative creation. This fun and engaging class uses unique games and exercises to develop skill and inspire creativity.  This class benefits students with a wide range of experience, from the most novice to the most experienced performer. Join us for an adventure in improv like no other. Ignite your spark!

Form & Function
Learn the art and craft of Long Form Improv

​This advanced class is for students with some experience under their belt. This class is designed to take you to the next level with focus on long forms from around the globe, scene editing styles and storytelling. ​You’ll learn to create and develop story, create and sustain characters, and we will discover and design new forms together. Form and Function has long been one of my favorite classes to teach. I hope you’ll join us!
